Zorbari Stephen is a results-driven leader with more than twelve years of experience in project management, business development, operations, and digital transformation, working across both government and private sectors. He has built a career on driving innovation, building strategic partnerships, and creating solutions that deliver measurable social and business impact.

Stephen most recently served as Director of Public Affairs at a healthcare technology company, where he was instrumental in launching and scaling the organization’s country operations. In this role, he championed policy engagement, fostered key partnerships, and advanced the adoption of digital innovations to strengthen healthcare access for communities across Nigeria.

Hailing from a small community in Tai Local Government Area, Rivers State, Nigeria, Stephen’s journey reflects resilience and determination. He began his academic and professional path in healthcare, studying Medical Laboratory Science at the Rivers State College of Health Science and Technology. Graduating at the top of his class, he successfully passed the National Medical Laboratory Science Council examination in 2008.

In 2009, Stephen made the bold decision to transition into technology. He pursued a year of study in Information Technology at SRM University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, before enrolling at Lovely Professional University (LPU) in India. There, he earned a First-Class Honours degree in Information Technology Engineering and returned to Nigeria in 2014 to begin applying his expertise.

Stephen is the Founder of Afiyavest, a community health financing platform that partners with health maintenance organizations (HMOs), donors, and social health insurance schemes to expand access to quality healthcare for underserved households and communities. He is also the Founder and CEO of Teezzor Consulting, a business and technology consulting firm focused on driving digital transformation within the public sector.

Guided by his passion for innovation and community development, Stephen continues to bridge the gap between technology and healthcare, building scalable solutions that empower vulnerable communities while advancing Africa’s digital and social transformation agenda.
